Wuthering Heights

by Wolran Kim

After I let you go
running away my heart landed here
holding the income statement of my mind which
never settled ever and ever
Should have followed the nucleus of wild wind
Horrible, solitude breeding with high fever
Grievous, everywhere the storm passed by, in hollow
A face with deep hollow
The road climbing with two crippled legs
Breathless beneath my chin on the silent even land
Could not bear my breath
Blinded by the adultery of wind
Grasping the hair of a shaved head’s memories
let fly away one strand and the other and other
I was a patient lost, doctor who spews out breezes
Became an abbess in the temple of the wind
took yesterday as a hostage when I was your prisoner
I wanted to be binded with somebody except you
Newborns suffering from just clipped umbilical cord
crying up on the hill opening the door of breath
A skeleton of memories gaining flesh under rays beam.
Again, a rising ground clattering down
Should have pulled down the birthplace of memories
Chilled to my teeth from afloat rumors
under my feet as flying pollen
Searched empty body for good behavior to the wind
Really wanted to be empty after putting down all this nature
A menial kite string hanging on the oak tree
By chance, will beg forgiveness
Wandering my heart vanishes from messages of stars
Should be the closest spot to blue sky
