I have opened doors in my mind that should have been sealed shut
And I would change the world of those days to something good
I went to a park and threw away all my pointless fears
But within me, the cold wind remains and freezing rain stays
Childhood was not warm with all I saw and I thought that permanent cold could be deferred
I saw the lowering clouds constantly covering the sun in the park
Perhaps the clouds would sprout up the sky again
No more cold wind for an echo, no more freezing rain for the splash
The world of childhood I left behind, far away, disappearing out of sight
