The fragrance of a calla The snow came to the my hometown in Korea to which I flew for thirteen hours My mother was gone I returned home and only my lovely dog waited for me in the back yard There were calla flower like snow I picked an arm full of them and placed them in a transparent glass vase A cup of green tea is steaming hot and resting on the window ledge A lady's heart waiting for spring in a peaceful state The hometown's snow dancing-like flakes in the wind Now embraced in the fragrance of calla
