If I lay down you, I don’t need to translate any more

The letters I can’t see grow, eating the darkness

 

I shake your arms and legs that are bound mysteriously

 

I wanted to get out from my narrow genre when I took you

I, who was always a speaker, became a wife

Who misses the outdoors even while I read you

I actually closed you, who breathes differently everyday

 

Our kids started their unfamiliar stories a long time ago

 

You, who were lifted up to my height, drop like an abandoned sentence

Even on our trip where the world is so impressive

Because of the much more blank spaces than letters

I never read the last page of you

 

While I follow the hero, who keeps disappearing into the ant’s small passage

You are getting stale, like a secondhand book

New publications pour out everyday

 

I started to wear reading glasses

 

Anyway, what was your title?

I translate a piece of the yearning by turning leaves with wet fingers

A list that had never been lent out has disappeared

My path in the book was always right under my nose

 

The author is dead

 

If I could have reached the destination by reading a page

Which flutters like the butterfly effect

It should be covered with dust under colorful furniture

The wind leaves after reading you on a slow bench with no more rapid reading

 

It becomes a river after flowing for a long, long time

 

We, who were always hungry, even after eating our whole lives,

Hold a simple story for too long

Once, I put you, who stand like a commandment, right by the Bible

Now, I write my diary on you from one day

 

I folded my soul between the pages of you
