POEM FOR THE COLD SNOW

In the early winter,
snowflakes come down
like the shiny scales of a fish
onto the dry branches.

In the cave
where the young sleep,
the cries of lost wolves
penetrate through the valley.

The cold moon
surges the wind that
makes white clothes flutter,
and tumbles down the mountain.

The sorrowful candlelight
is soaked by the winter air
and shaken by the breath of an old lover.

The dawn
wakes up a new Century,
wakes up a new era.

About now,
where is a new life born,
a painful breaking of the placenta?
