The Roof


With two pieces of your bare chest
How could you tolerate
The scorching heat of a sun like this?
How could you stand a strong wind like this?
How could you bear with torrents of rain like this?

Over the waves in the sea of life,
My comfort comes from
The capacity of your bosom.

I wish I could have a heart of endearment just like yours,
Enduring the burning sun,
The stormy wind,
And the rainy dark clouds
Deep inside of me.
