June Prayer

      Oh June
      That dashed here in a single step
      Riding a rainbow flower cart
      After firmly buring
      In a clay pot of jade porcelain hue
      The scent of the daphne flower
      Of April

      Have you heard
      Of my second brother's lungs and liver
      Which have turned into a battlefield
      What a waste
      But not yet
      Block his lungs and liver at least, please
      Sweep together
      All the june sunrays
      Above earth
      Pinpoint the precise part
      And kindle it aflame, plase

      So he may not become a fallen autumn leaf
      Let him just save his life
      Then pierce through the white snow
      To stand again
      With peals of laughter
      As the brother of new shoots
      In new spring, please.
