술람미의 연가 

향연처럼 피어오른 뭉개구름 위에 

내마음의 연정을 노래하는 

저 아름다운 연은 그리움으로 춤을 추네 

내 영혼의 청실과 그대 사랑의 홍실로 

정교하게 씨줄 날줄로 엮어짠 

내 꿈 속의 연이어라 

푸른 온하늘 그대 품 뛰노는 심장에 

연으로 연서를 쓰면 내 님을 향한 

초록빛 그리움은 불붙는 단풍되어 

내 온몸을 물들이고 있네 

님이 뿌리고 간 영원한 사랑의 향취 

내 영혼 온통 스며들어 주님향한 일편단심 

그대 서 있는 생명수 강가에 

마음을 실은 사랑의 종이배를 

언제까지나 띄워 보내오리다. 

Love Song of the Shulammite

What a wonderful kite it is!

It is soaring high above with love song, 

Dancing with yearning above the floating clouds 

Like burning incense with fragrance. 

What a beautiful kite in my dream it is! 

It is weaved exquisitely with indigo-blue thread 

Of my renewed soul and crimson-red thread of 

Thy agape love. 

My pinky ignition of my spirit

Flaming with unquenchable love 

Is kindled in Thy throbbing heart 

Hidden under Thy bosom 

Like the vast, boundless and azure sky. 

The blue sky colored with evening glow

Looks like devouring the blazing sun. 

Vivid and verdant greenish longing for 

Thee is coloring my heart with awesome autumnal tints. 

The prime of my life has gone forever. 

My fragile life has become like falling leaves in the autumn. 

They are silky quilt spreading on the soaked wet grass 

Covered with dew fallen at night. 

Everlasting fragrance of  Thy amazing grace 

Penetrating into my soul quickened me. 

My perpetual love forThee is unchangeable. 

I will keep floating love-boats made of paper 

Loading with love songs toward the River of Life 

By which Thou are standing.
