넋빠진 황홀감이 한순간 절망감으로
다만 영광스런 여행을 기대했는데

무더위에 습도가 죽을맛이다
곡예사들처럼 도로를 누비는 차들
그래도 범죄는 여느나라보다도 적은편이라고

가지가지의 음식에 눈이 휘청이지만 나중에는 다 그맛이 그맛
중국인들의 드센 목청들은 어딜가도 하늘을 찌를듯
고성의 흥정소리로 뒤덮인 전체가 장마당같은 대도시

이런 와중속에 꾸준이 제법 유지되어 나가는게 신기해
택시가 사방으로 날아다니는 인터네셔날 허브라
바로 세계에 끊임없이 어필하는 매력적인 삶이란가?

One moment in ecstasy to despair next
Not this is what I expected
Glorious journey that far meant to be

Killer heat and humidity, ever experienced
Onslaught in traffic sheer acrobatic
Notwithstanding, surprisingly, lower crime rates I hear
Galvanising rich food display no questionable but ends in same tastes

Vociferous at most everywhere piercing
It's like a gigantic open market with constant haggling
Sustain, pursue and almost mythical
International a hub as taxis fly to all directions
Thus life still attracts millions from the world
