사막에서는
빛과 바람의 시간을 끌어안고
외로운 늑대처럼
한 마리 들짐승이 되어 뒹굴지 않으면
살아갈 수 없다

사막에서는
고독한 밤바람의 거친 숨소리에
온몸으로 흔들리는 들플이 되어
밤새도록 소리쳐 부를 이름이 없으면
살아갈 수 없다

사막에서는
처절하게 물길을 더듬는 생명을 위하여
목숨 다 해 울어 줄
뜨거운 가슴이 없으면
살아갈 수 없다

사막에서는
꿈을 꾸지 않으면
살 수가 없.다

오늘도 내 뜨거운 노래
허허로운 벌판에 풀어놓는 것은
메마른 가슴 가슴
푸른 강물로 출렁이게 하고 싶은
내 꿈같은 꿈 때문이다
