오늘이란 하루

 Today is a gift.”

 Eleanor Roosevelt 영부인이

그녀의 어록에서 말했다

 

오늘을 소유하는 것은

내가 아직 살아있다는 축복의 결실이다

 

오늘이 없다면

어제의 역사와는 무관한 존재가 되지만

오늘이란 선물의 구심점은

내일이란 미지의 원심으로 이어지는

교두보가 된다

 

공평하게

누구에게나 주어지는 24시간은

낙서를 갈기다가 버린  휴지 쪽지가 아니다

한 시간 한 시간 써 내려간 인생의 서사를

처절하게 갈무리하는 유언장이다

 

Bucket List를 작성하고

내일의 신비를 알고자 오늘도 뜀박질을 한다

 

오늘 하루를 잘  마무리 하면

내일의 신비는

호기심 만한 상상의 나래를 펼치며

꿈나라로 여행길을 안내해준다.
