불꽃놀이

눈부신 공작새의 날개빛

밤 하늘이

보석을 박은 듯 번쩍이다

우수수 떨어지는 낙엽처럼

별똥별되어 사라지는 너

 너는 누구를 위하여 그렇게

아름다운 꽃을 피우는가

한 순간을 위하여 온 생을

불사르는 뜨거운 열정이

재로 남아

내 가슴에 불씨로 살아있다

너와 닮은 꼴이고 픈 나 

Fireworks Display

What fancy, colorful feathers the peacock displays!

 It holds me spellbound.

Fireworks glitter like brilliant jewels,

Set against the dark night sky.

Like falling leaves from the trees,

You scatter in a twinkle,

As if you were shooting stars.

For whom are you blooming?

For the sake of a moment,

Your burning passion,

Consuming your entire life,

Remains a live coal in my heart.

When it is aflame,

 I would like to resemble you.

I wish my dream would come true!

Ah, I wish I were you!
