선창에서

밤새도록
바다 끝에서 흔들리던 불빛이
이른 새벽
선착장이 흔들리도록
질펀한 소리들을 부려 놓는다

혼신을 다해 튀어오르는
물고기들의 치열한 몸부림
헐떡이는 숨소리
무엇을 더 보태려고
저토록 맹렬히 몸을 뒤집는지

목숨의 끝에 매달린
처절한 절규와
목숨을 손에 쥔 사람들의
시퍼런 희망이
파도처럼 선창에 흘러 넘친다

싱싱한 비린내
마음 밖으로 달아나는 나를
삶으로 밀어 넣는다
거대한 불덩이 하나
바다를 통째로 들어 올리고 있다.

At Fishing Dock

All night long
The flickering dim light at the end of the sea
At early dawn
Released slush noises of pantomime all over
Shaking up the entire fishing dock

Jumping up with all might in their bodies
Those fishes' desperate writhing
Gasping sound for water
To add what
Do they flip flap so fiercely

Hanging at the end of their breath
Gruesome screams
And blue hopes
Of those who hold their lives
Like waves surge bellowing

Fresh fish smell,
Pushes me to life
When I tried to run away from minding
While a huge fireball from the horizon
Lifts up the entire ocean.
