             ㅡ결혼25주년에ㅡ


봄이 되면 화려하게 피어나는
목련이기 보담
억척스레 뿌리내려 꽃 피울줄 아는
민들레같은 사랑을 하구려

작은 선물 주어놓고
무심한 날들 보내기 보담
매일 같이 주고 받는 눈빛 스칠 때마다
가슴에 안겨 드는
바람같은 사랑을 하구려

빛을 잃어가는 풀잎
떠나는 청둥오리때 보고 쓸쓸해 하기보담
꽃씨와 곡식을 거두는
풍성한 마음같은 얼굴에 잔주름
추억을 세 수 있는 사랑을 하구려

흙 위에
민들레 자라듯
당신과 나 그렇게
그렇게 사랑하며 살다가

내가 죽어 뒷산 바위 된다면
당신은 이끼 되어 바위 덮고

내가 죽어 한 그루 나무 된다면
당신은 나무 덮는 잎이 되고

내가 죽어 물이 되어 바다로 간다면
당신은 섬이 되어

서로의 영혼을 붙잡고
그렇게 세월속에 남아 있구려

Like the Blooming Dandelion on Earth

Like the vibrant magnolias
Blossoming in the springtime
Love like a dandelion
Determined to take root and blossom

Rather than little trinkets
Given in exchange for days of indifference
Bright eyes graze and exchange each day
The heart with embraced breezes

Rather than regretting
The blade of grass losing the light of day
The flight of the departing geese
Love and count the memories
Like the lines on the faces of those
Who have harvested the bounty of fruit and grain

Like the dandelion
Growing on the ground
To live with you
Each day by day

If I die and become
A boulder in the mountain
You will be the moss
That covers me from the elements

If I die and become
A tree
You will be the leaves
That covers me
If I die and be come a stream
That flows to the ocean
You will be the Island
That keeps me company

Holding on each other’s spirit
Through all times we will remain
