70. 아득타

 

 

어쩌다가 이렇게

아득한 길로 들어섰는가

 

80평생 고행하다가

보이지 않는 극락으로 길 떠나고

그리스도 예수는 33세에 참 진리의 등짐 졌느니

고행의 석가여

 

십자가 등짐 지고 간 예수의 짐 속에 당신도

업혀 있느니

 

 

70. Being Remote

 

 

Why enter

such a remote path?

 

After such self-mortification for a lifetime of eighty years

you took your journey to the unseen home of the happy dead

and Christ Jesus at 33 bore on his back the burden of real truth

O you Buddha of self-mortification

 

In the burden Jesus carried on the cross are

you also included
