58. 꽃

 

 

고운 모습으로 피어오르신 당신

 

내가 이 땅에 오기 전부터

뿌리에 올라앉아 새싹으로 돋으신

그 목숨의 끝

 

어둠의 근원을 뚫고

지금, 내 앞에 당도하시었구려

 

만나 뵙고 싶었습니다

 

붉은 울음의 핏덩이로 굴러온 평생을

보여드리고 싶었습니다

 

우주를 우려내어 사랑을 사르고

나를 향하신 분명한 모습

진정 사랑하였노라고

그 끝에서 눈물 그득 젖어 계시는구려

 

피보다 진한 손수건 흔들며 돌아가는 길

황막한 이 땅에 찬바람만 불지라도

설레는 가슴 붉게 펴 드리겠습니다

 

두고, 빛으로 오시는 이여!

우리 서로 나누어 가진 향기로

꽃을 자꾸 피워야 합니다

땅에서

하늘에서

하늘 밖에서

살아있는 언어로

꽃샘 하는 계절은 지금입니다

58. Flower

 

 

You have bloomed gracefully

 

The end of the life

that came to sit on the root and shot forth the bud

from before the time I came to this earth

 

You passed through the fountain of darkness  

and now, you are before me

 

I longed to see you

 

I longed to show you

a life I have lived as a rolling bloody lump of scalding tears

 

Glowing love permeating the universe,

your clear visage turned toward me

saying you truly loved me,

full of tears, you are there at the end

 

Waving a handkerchief thicker than blood on the way back

I will show forth your ardent heart

though only cold wind blows in this bleak land

 

O you who come in light, ever!

We must bloom again and again

with the fragrance we share

on earth

in the sky

outside the sky

in living words

Now is the season for spring wind
