눈길 머무는 곳마다
꽃들은 예쁘게 피어났고

탐스럽게 익어가던 싱그러운 열매들

더 밝은 빛을 찿아
캄캄한 바다를 함께 건너 온 사람
돌아보면 고통도 빛이 되지만
한 때는 참으로 절실 했던 어두움

오늘은 결혼 40주년
물처럼 서로에게 스며들어
나 보다 더 나 같은 당신과
당신보다 더 당신 같이 되어버린 내가
산타모니카 하늘 끝에
사과 빛 노을로 타고 있다
