그 곳에는
유림 서생의 글 읽는 소리
수백 년 대나무 숲을 가른다.

파랗게 이끼 앉은
기왓장 갈피갈피
대마무 속까지 외줄로 푸른
이황의 숨결
구석구석 앉아있고

천자문을 외우는 아이들의 목소리
장원급제를 꿈꾸는 유생들의 눈빛
서원 마당 가득
색색의 나비 떼로 날아오른다

밤이 깊을수록
글 읽는 소리 더욱 청청해지고
관복자락 언뜻언뜻 눈앞을 스친다
