하루의 고된 일과를 마치고 돌아와

키를, 마음을 내려놓는 곳

‘아, 집이 좋다!’ 하면서

 

집이란 내겐

벼르고 별렀던 여행지에서도

몇 일도 못 돼서 간절히 그리워하는 곳

‘뭐니뭐니 해도 집이 최고야…’ 하면서

 

집이란 내겐

늘 엄마가 계시는 곳

한 소년을 기다리시며

따스한 맛있는 음식을 차려 놓고서

 

집이란

한평생 내게 부어졌던 애정이

내 자녀들의 삶에 다시 투영되고, 그래서 저들이

‘집이 그립다. 엄마 보고 싶어!’

returning back from daily toilsome at work,

where I hang my key and my heart on,

saying, ‘Oh, home is so good!’

 

Home is like

where my heart is heading to in just few days

while I am tripping the best place I’d longed for,

saying, ‘Home is the best place…’

 

Home is like

where my mom is always there,

waiting for a young boy,

and yummy warm food could be expected

 

Home is like 

to let the love I have been poured on

could be projected in my kids’ world,

and let them sing a song, 

‘I wanna go home. I miss my mom.’
