더 낮은 자리로 내려주어요

벼랑 맨 밑바닥 스미는

아주 낮은 자리로

이대로는 갈 수 없어

남은 생애 마른 육신이

고꾸라져

뒤집어엎어져 떨어져야 할

가장 낮은 자리로

날 내려주어요

거기서 다시 눈을 뜨게요

 

점도 없고 흠도 없이

화평 중에 당신을

뵈어야지요 

 

당신이 계신 그 자리를

내 영혼의 지정석으로 해요

그때서야 당신 눈에 내가 확 띌 거예요

 

My Soul's Reserved Seat

                                      

Take me down to the lower seat, my Lord.

Perhaps to the lowest place

like the deepest bottom of a cliff…

I don't deserve this comfortable seat.

So, in the remaining years of my life,

please take me dawn to the lowest place of the low.

The lowest place that will help me open my eyes to your truth once again…

 

In spotless and flawless,

I would like see you in peace.

 

I pray that I could take your suffering place

as my soul's reserved seat.
