지금 내 깊은 속살에

뜨거운 피가 돕니다

당신의 빛이 일어나는

함성이 들립니다

 

천년을 거슬러 오르거나

천년을 내달릴

힘이 막 솟아오릅니다

 

어서 내 손에 깃발을 들려주십시오

어둠에 누운 사람들이 깨어나는

꼭두새벽을 주십시오

 

망망대해에 징 치고 피리 불며 떠나는

외로운 배 한 척을 주십시오

In my deep flesh right now

runs fiery blood

I hear the roar

of thy light rising

 

I am bursting with strength

to walk back a thousand years

or to run a thousand years

 

Hasten to put a banner in my hand

Bestow me a dawn

when those lying in the dark awake

 

Bestow me a solitary ship

launched in the vast sea with the sound of gongs and flutes
