가다가

쉬지 말고 가다가

바람을 만나거든

별이 되라 일러라

 

바람이 모여

바위가 되든지

바위가 쌓여

바람으로 일더라도

별이 되는 길을 일러주어라

 

별이 하늘에서 내려와

꽃으로 피더라도

다시 별이 되라 일러라

 

적막한 우주에

혼자서는 못 가는 길이 있어

죽음만이 길일지라도

별이 되라 일러라 

 

 

26. The Acts

 

 

Go,

Go without stopping,

and when you see wind,

tell it to be star

 

All that the wind gathered

may become rocks,

all the rocks heaped

may blow like wind,

tell them how to be a star

 

A star may come down from the sky

and bloom like a flower,

tell it still how to be a star again

 

In the silent universe

there's a way one can't go alone

and death only may be the way,

tell him still to be a star
