- The June rain

After a long drought in that June

Shower rained on platanus leaves

That too, wetted in my deep heart

Finally,

The sickness let my son go

And he journeyed on that rainy road

In every June

The sound of the leaves shaking off the rain

The rain carves a deep hollow out of my heart

As the dry rice field embraces the rain

The June rain, as tears,

that fills in the parched land

When the rice seedlings grow tall

Will my son too, grow that tall?

At a four and half year old

No longer growing, no getting tall

He stopped, even in my dream
