엉킨 실타래를 풀며

꿈인지 생시인지 모르겠다
내 앞에 엉켜있는
이 수많은 뱀
매섭게 번득이는 세모꼴 눈매
날름거리며 뱉어내는 독설
돌아설 수도
나아갈 수도 없는 자리
아! 서릿발 같은 냉기

한 때는 내 꿈을 깁는 것이
가장 큰 행복이라며
정갈하게 감겨있던
길고 아름답던 몸
언제 어디서부터 잘못되어
이렇게 헝클어지고
꼬여 버린 걸까

눈 질끈 감고 끊어 버릴 용기
아니면
차근차근 풀어 낼 인내를
시험하고 있는 것 같다.

Untangling The Tangled  Yarn

I can't tell if it was in a dream or in reality
Tangling ensued in front of my eyes
Numerous serpents.
Fiercely glinting tri angled sharp eyes
Diatribing remarks spewed out darting in and out
Neither could I turn around
Nor could I walk forward..., situation
Ai, the cold air like ice column

Once saying stitching up of my dreams
Is his highest happiness
Neatly wound
Long and graciously beautiful body
When and where did it start to go bad
To get messed up such as this
And kinked up?

The courage to cut with eyes closed
Or
The patience to unloose in a calm and orderly posture
