이 가을에는
          차신재

풋살구 같이
시고  떫은
그런 것 말고

청솔가지 타는
매캐한 연기 같은
그런 것도  말고

생각만으로도
목숨이 잦아드는
그런 것은 더 더욱 말고

잘 익은 연시 같고
소나무 향기 같은
그런 사람과

햇살 바른 벤치에
나란히 앉고 싶다.


This Fall
              Cha SinJae

Like a green apricot
Tart and sour
Not that sort

Entwining green pine twigs
Acrid smokes
Not that sort, either

The thought of it alone
Causes a life slowly burnt  to death
Not that sort, not in the least

Just like a well ripen persimmon
And just like the pine tree fragrance
With such a person

On a sunny bench
I wish to sit side by side
