헛소문

그것은
구름 없는 하늘에 둥둥 떠 있는
알록달록한 풍선
온몸으로 하품하고 있던 사람들
그 풍선에 매달려
한바탕 신나게 날아다닌다

더러는 심심하고 근질거려
더욱 커다랗게 부풀린 풍선
너에게만 주는 선물이라고
은밀하게 생색도 내면서
더 멀리 날려보라고 소리 없이 부추긴다

한 계절이 바뀌기도 전
하늘 가득 날아다니던
색색의 풍선들
바람 빠져 땅위에 뒹글고
알맹이 없이 찌그러진 그것에
눈길하나 주는 이 없는 데

헛소문에 가슴 찔리어
방문을 잠근 여자
그 핏빛 울음만
하늘 가득 둥둥 떠 있다
