거울 앞에서

건너편에 마주 서 있는 여자
겁 먹은 듯 힘 없이 쳐진 눈
웃을 때 마다 한쪽으로 비뚤어지는 입
어디선가 많이 본 얼굴이다

세월에 쫓겨 달려오다
노을 끝 막다른 길에 마주 선
눈에 익은 저 여자
아는 척해야 하나 말아야 하나
주춤거리며 망설이다
그냥 모른 척 돌아섰다

뭔가
뒤를 당겨 돌아 봤더니
같이 돌아보고 서있는 그 여자
눈이 마주쳤다

아! 너였구나
함께 피식 웃었다

In Front Of A Mirror

The old woman facing me on the other side
Eyes drooping weakly as if frightened
Mouth distorting to one side  every time she smiles
Somewhat familiar face it is

Running away, chased by time
At the end of sunset on a dead end street we faced each other
She is very familiar
Should I pretend that I know her or not
After a few moments of hesitation, wavering
I turned around pretending I knew her not

Pulled me and as I turned around
She also turned around to look at me
Our eyes met
