내 눈물로

한 마리 새를 기르고 싶습니다

 

적막한 우주에 나를 향한

오직 한 점 사랑을 물어 나르는 새를

기르고 싶습니다 

 

하늘 가장 높은 곳에서

노래하는 새를

그 맑은 바람 속에 비상하는

눈물의 목숨을 갖고 싶습니다

 

허무도 죽음도 모르는 새를

내 은하의 하늘에

영원히 날리고 싶습니다

I wish to raise a bird

with my tears

 

I wish to raise

a bird that picks and carries one jot of love

toward me in the desolate universe

 

I wish to have a bird singing

in a lofty place in the sky,

and to have a life of tears soaring

in the clear wind

 

I wish to fly forever a bird

that knows neither vanity nor death

in my sky filled with stars
