한 여름 내내
꼭꼭 여며 온 가슴
태양의 뜨거운 입맞춤에
그만 터지고 말았어요

그대에게 주려고
몰래몰래 익어 온
빨간 내 마음
온 세상에 들키고 말았지요

이 진홍빛 찬란한 보석
취할 듯  달콤한 향기
오직 당신 위해 익혀 온
내 사랑이에요

바람이 달려 와
열린 가슴을 더듬으려 해요
어서 따가세요
새들이 날아들기 전에.

All summer long
My tightly guarded heart
By sun's hot kisses
Got burst open just like that
Desiring to offer to you
The secretly and furtively ripen
Reddened heart of mine
Got caught by the entire world now

These red-colored, brilliant jewels
With their intoxicating, delicious fragrance
Ripened for only you
They're my love solely for you.

The wind came running ahead and
Tries to grope my open heart
Please pick me up quick
Before birds fly in.

"How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse!
how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments
than all spices! 

Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under
thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon. 

A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up,
a fountain sealed. 

Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits;
camphire, with spikenard, 

Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of
frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: 

 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. 

Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden,
that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden,
and eat his pleasant fruits. 

나의 누이, 나의 신부야! 달콤한 그대의 사랑, 그대의 사랑은 포도주보다 더 나를 즐겁게 한다.
그대가 풍기는 향내보다 더 향기로운 향기름이 어디 있느냐!

나의 신부야, 그대의 입술에서는 꿀이 흘러 나오고, 그대의 혀 밑에는 꿀과 젖이 고여 있다.
그대의 옷자락에서 풍기는 향내는 레바논의 향기와 같다.

나의 누이 나의 신부는 문 잠긴 동산, 덮어놓은 우물, 막아 버린 샘.

그대의 동산에서는 석류와 온갖 맛있는 과일, 고벨 꽃과 나도 풀,

나도 풀과 번홍꽃, 창포와 계수나무 같은 온갖 향나무, 몰약과 침향 같은 온갖 귀한 향료가 나는구나.

그대는 동산에 있는 샘, 생수가 솟는 우물, 레바논에 흐르는 시냇물이다.

 

(여자) 북풍아, 일어라. 남풍아, 불어라. 나의 동산으로 불어오너라. 그 향기 풍겨라.
사랑하는 나의 임이 이 동산으로 와서 맛있는 과일을 즐기게 하여라."
