불타는 기도 / 정문선

그것은
촛불이었다

숨죽여 있던 소원
일순
벽을 기어오르며
겹겹이 들어붙은 세월의 껍질을
핥아내고 있었다

황홀했던 언어들이
새까맣게 타들어 가고
들어나는 가슴
눈이 부시도록
하얗게 바래지는 시간

어머니는 벌써 떠나셨는데
여전한 기도소리
어른거린다.
