꽃을 배고 싶은 천년을

들길에서 떨고 있다

 

꽃 없는 삶과

꽃 없는 죽음을

울어도 울어도

옴짝 않는 우주 속에

내 이름은 무화과

 

내 핏줄에선

한 송이 꽃도

피어나지 않는다

한 송이 꽃도

다가와 주지 않는다

 

차라리 

오늘 하루

살아있는 목숨으로

꽃보다 더 붉은 잎을

떨구리라

Trembling on the road in a field

yearning a thousanad years to conceive flowers

 

I lament over

life without a flower

and death without a flower

but the universe does not stir

and my name is Fig Tree

 

Out of my vein

not a single flower

blooms,

not a single flower

comes near

 

All the day long

I would rather be

a living life

and drop

leaves redder than flowers
