    동반자   

 



산을 오르다 바위를 만났다
자일도 없이 올라야 하는 바위
가능과 불가능을 잠시 생각한다
통과해야 하는 길이므로
가능에다 동그라미를 친다

바위를 눈으로 더듬는다
그의 빈 틈과 상처가 보인다
빈 틈의 크기와 상처의 깊이를
마음에 새긴다
처음엔 조심스럽게, 나중엔 확실하게
그의 틈에 손을 넣는다

바위의 지문과 내 지문이 섞인다
온몸을 그의 상처에 댄다
그의 심장 소리가 들린다
그의 틈과 상처를 내것으로 품는다
두 몸이 하나가 된 마음
가파른 길을 통과해 간다

    Companion   

 



Climbing a mountain, I met a rock.
A rock to climb without any equipment.
For a moment, I pondered on "possibility"and "impossibility".
As it was a path to pass, I circled on "possibility".

Glancing over the rock, I saw a crack and a wound on it.
I engraved in my mind the size of the crack and depth of the wound.

At first, very carefully,and later very assuredly,
I inserted my hands into the crack,
Blending the fingerprints of the rock with mine.

I touched the rock with my whole body,
and felt the pulse of the rock.

Passing the steep path,
I hugged the crack and wound as mine.

As if the rock and I were one.
