Flower Motion Sickness

        Before I take even
        One sip of flower wine
        I flush drunkenly

        Spring comes as the whip of a top
        And spins flowers forcefully
        Round and round
        Whiz whiz
        Dandelions, azaleas, violets
        Teeny-weeny
        Put forth blossoms of
        Season past winter tales

        On the branch tip of a small tree
        Which shook all winter
        Shall I hang a star
        And go out to meet spring

        One yellow butterfly
        Has already
        Beat me to the punch

        Dizzily dizzily
        Sitting atop spring
