24) Gas Station in the Sky
Wolran Kim
The place to stop
The sky at which we can always look up
The tired land wherewe keep walking
The sky at which we can always look back
Despite no one returning
Everyone believes they went back
After two feet drink a sigh
The way comes from rising to the sky
Because of that high blue
That is never known by a secret of pouring time
And the amount of stock
We used to refuel in the air raising our eyes
Where birds lay eggs on the horizon
I sit upon it
The sky stays on the fingertips
Becoming a star-studded heaven even when it’s dark
Once while turning the engine off
Operating the wipers if it rains
My throat is wet
As if I ran through the dry desert
At the place that could be shaded by hands
Loading lubricating oil thatdrops
I had been running through a huge field of view
On the land that looks like the homeless shelter
Floating with nothing missing
In the darkness brightening the dark
That quiet hope
