21) Sunset
Wolran Kim
1
A hunter, empty-handed, wandering
The heart of a mountain till nightfall
Caught one day
Flying away to the western sky
Bang!
Never seen such a death,
A huge beast
Spilled blood,filling the sky
2
The frozen moment is always bloody
The memory of time sliced raw by a sharp knife
Like a rising face always from the west
Is sharpening the day
The time, minimized to one millionth of a pixel
Just like a hidden alibi
Just like the hysteria of the absence of evidence
No longer rising or sinking
Imprinted to the heart of the sun
3
Never knew how a day is shed
Never knew how tomorrow blossoms
While struggling in an ignored, imaginary swamp
A siren blows through vertical blinds in each room
A flame of the day, never quenched by an ambulance
Is out of our gazes above folded arms, over the river of silence
Like a croquis of fallen people from the black Twin Towers
Must not have been just one or two who jumped down from the day
