18) The Borderland
Wolran Kim
While young eyes grow beyond the chain link fence
I yearned for the kingdom of barbarians
Between the seasons
There is a land that only collects time lag
Between countries
Sealed in an unavailable language
The story is like a letter that left my hands
This is a mysterious ecosystem never touched by others
When a blonde next door neighbor
Walks outside briskly from a fairy tale
A rare animal who is wilted from a chronic disease
Wonders only about the place she left
As many renewals of visas
Although rivers and mountains change
The childish alley is still growing
Where she fell down on her infant shin
One plane, not loaded with a reply
Is flying across the sky drawing a line
Shaky, losing my way, I stepped
On the line in the sky
Rare species who only take a moderate course
Are born, this is the DMZ
A handful of wind that is never trapped by the fence
Flies like a reply
Everywhere that I step is the borderland
