카타리나 섬 새벽을 깨우는 아침이다 저녁노을 같은 진홍빛 해가 달의 신화로 떠오른다 서서히 눈이 멀도록 동자로 들어온 그림자는 하얗게 바래진 달 바다에 내리는 빛 기도까지 멈추게 하는 경이로운 춤 잠자던 돌고래도 놀라 뛰다 떨어진다 그어진 수평선은 태양이 지나간 흔적인가 하늘 땅 가르며 섬이 있다 Catalina Island Cracking the dawn the morning pokes out its head. Coloured like evening glow, the crimson sun rises as the myth of the Moon Goddess does. Its shadow slowly comes into my pupils covering and blinding my eyes and becomes the pale and faded moon. Its light descends onto the ocean and becomes so amazing a dance that it even stops my prayers. Even a sleeping dolphin wakes up, shocked and jumps up to the sky and falls back. Is the horizon marking the sun's track? It's an island there that divides heaven and earth.
