며칠간 계속된 용광로 날씨 예보

예측할 수 없는 조바심에 빠끔히 문을 연다

순간 원초의 뜨거움이 전신을 휩쓴다

온 몸의 세포가 휘청하며 숨마저 지친다

 

도가니로 씌어진 화성의 광야처럼

미동하지 않는 앞의 시야

안팎으로 멈추어진 적색 경보

순간 전신 마취로 포승된

저항없는 항복이 발목을 흐트린다

생각조차 멈춘다

 

모호한 기대 속에 동반한

한 번도 경험하지 못한 거센 작렬

영국땅 유사 이래 끊는 첫 노오란 테이프의 날

보이지도 두 번다시 만나고 싶지도 않은

40도의 괴물

 

역사적인 찰나를 감지한 증인 속의 나

본의 아니게 한 아름 거머쥔 떨떠름한 불명예……

이것이 온난화의 첫 번째 단계라는데

정말로……

 

For days of the constant warning on extreme heat

I open the French door ajar so anxiously

Whoosh!

The prime hotness hits me all over instantly

All of my body cells stumble of poor breathing

 

The sight, standstill covered by the gigantic screen of kiln

Resembling the wilderness of Mars

The sheer red alert indoor and external

 

The day when bracing myself, apprehensive but curious

The torrential heat that I have never experienced

That broke the record in the British soil since the human settlement

I don’t wish to meet ever again the invisible freak

The 40 °C monster

 

I’ve gained the dishonour by being a witness in a crazy spell

On the historical day with fellow citizens

It is said that it is the beginning of the global warming/ climate change

Really!!!
