바이올리니스트 쟌

바하마 크루주 선상에서
루마니아 하늘 향해
노스탈지아 파닥이는 갈매기

 

 
낮에는 찰리 챠프린 어릿광대
밤에는 익살스런 눈동자 어디선가
우수가 씰룩이는 고전 연주자

 

 
G선상의 아리아 지고이넬 바이젠
슈벨트의 세레나데 바하의 칸타타...
매 연주마다 루마니아 고향집
아내와 이이들 목소리
비애의 눈가에 물결친다

 

 
짜가운 해풍 망망 대해에서
고향에 품고갈 이삭을 줍고자
쟌은 오늘도 질끈 향수를 삼키며
사력(死力)을 다해 날갯짓한다

 

 
 
Violinist John on a Bahama Cruise*
 
 
Violinist John, a seagull feathering nostalgia
toward the sky of Romania​ on a Bahama cruise.
 
He used to act as a pierrot 'Charlie Chaplin' during daytime  
and to play classical music at night, showing a somewhat  
sorrowfulness out of his humorous eyes.
 
During his playing 'Aria on G-string', 'Zigeunerweisen'
'the Serenade of Schubert' and Bach's Cantatas',
there seemed to be a quiet wave of tears around his eyes,
missing his kids and wife in his hometown of Romania.
 
On the boundless and salty ocean, a seagull, John is now
flying with a desperate effort, swallowing his homesickness,
to get his provisions for his family.
