11. 백사장에서

 

 

억 천만 번 깨져서도

오히려 견고한 침묵으로

바람보다 낮은 자리를 찾아

바닷가에 나와 앉았다

 

입김만 스쳐도 부어오르는 살갗

밟으면 사각사각 소리뿐인 이 외로움

순수의 그 속살이 보일 때까지 씻겨진

홀로의 목숨

 

켜켜로 쌓인 설움을 달래는

물살을 옆에 두고도

목마름으로 타는 대낮

아직 끝나지 않은 이야기들이

햇볕에 반짝이고 있다

 

이제 무엇이 더 그리우냐

들려다오

들려다오

고운 빛 알로 남기까지

무너져 내리는 생애의 가슴에

불던 바람의 울음 섞인 소리를

들려다오

 

억 천만 번 깨져서도

Breaking thousands of times

and with solid silence

it finds a place lower than the wind

and sits by the sea

 

The skin swells at the slightest breath

This solitude and the crisp sounds under the feet

The only life I have

washed till the inner flesh of purity emerges

 

Midday, burning with thirst,

though lying by the water

that calms deep sorrow

Shining in the sun are

the unending tales

 

What are you still longing for

Tell me

The weeping of the wind blowing

in the heart of one's crumbling life

until a fair ball of light is formed

Tell me

 

No one knows what it means

to break thousands of times

then find a place lower than the wind

to sit by the sea

with solid silence
